Team Building- Tandem Skydiving! The perfect activity!

There are a number of different activities out there in which companies can partake in Team Building however skydiving is fast becoming one of the more popular.

The courage it takes for one to overcome their fears and jump out of an aircraft from 15,000ft is a true test. Imagine doing this side by side your colleagues- everyone starting out on the same page, whatever their position within the company they work in. Everyone’s a newbie when they enter the skydive centre and start the tandem skydive briefing. Within the briefing, they will learn about all the necessary essentials during the jump. The briefing lasts around 15 minutes after which they will be kitted up into a specialist skydive suit and be fitted with a tandem harness and be provided with goggles. Once ready it’s time to board the plane.

Once the tandem passenger lands safely back down to earth the exhilaration and feeling of self accomplishment is like no other. Doing this along side your colleagues and sharing this unique experience together is where the strong bond of unity is created- having gone through these shared emotions from start to finish- the initial fear, the rush of adrenaline, the breath taking awe and the immense feeling of accomplishment.  There really is no other one activity that can bring all of this emotion and sense of team spirit together in such a short amount of time.
