Our Hangar

Welcome to Skydive Algarve. Our hangar at Portimão Airfield is the heart of our operation, where our team gears up, briefings take place and the excitement begins.

Our first floor is fully dedicated to tandem customers, with a briefing room, changing facilities, lockers, a comfortable waiting area and a vending machine with drinks and snacks to keep you going before your jump.

On the ground floor you will find our manifest and shop, video and instructors room, kit store, packing area and boarding area , the heart of our daily operations.

Please note that for security reasons, access to the airfield is restricted to participants only. Friends and family are welcome to wait in the spectator area by SkyCafe, where they can watch the action from outside the airfield perimeter.

Aircraft

At Skydive Algarve we operate some of the largest capacity skydiving aircraft in the Algarve. Our skydiving aircraft are provided by Wingglider Europe who maintain a fleet of eight turbine aircraft that operate between the three Swallow Group dropzones in Spain, England and Portugal.

Our large capacity aircraft means we can easily accommodate a dedicated external camera flyer on your jump, giving you the best possible footage of the stunning Algarve coastline.

SkyCafe

Aerodromo de Portimão

Open all day, every day, the SkyCafe offers a selection of Portuguese and international cuisine and is the perfect place to enjoy an ice cold beer at the end of the day.

The coastal town of Alvor has a fantastic beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. Nearby Lagos and Praia de Rocha are popular with tourists, and the area is well-known for having plenty of activities to suit all tastes, so it’s an ideal place to bring the family.

Rigging Services

At Skydive Algarve we offer an onsite rigging service, which includes reserve repacks, hanging bar for full canopy inspection and sewing machines for basic repair jobs.
