Your step-by-step guide from arriving to making your first leap of faith with one of our instructors
Your Skydive
Step 1
ARRIVAL AT THE AIRFIELD
The booking time is the time of arrival, so there’s no need to come earlier. You will check-in with our friendly team at reception and fill out a waiver (if you haven’t already)
Step 2
Briefing
Next, you will watch a short video explaining the process, including the equipment and body position for exit, freefall and landing. This usually takes about 10 minutes
Step 3
GEAR-UP / PRE-BOARDING
Customers are fitted with a jumpsuit and harness. You will then meet your camera flyer (if they’ve added video/photos). Your instructor will then take you on to the waiting airplane
Step 4
THE FLIGHT TO ALTITUDE
A scenic 15-minute plane ride over the Algarve coastline with stunning views of Alvor, Lagos and Portimão. It’s spectacular, so look out of the window and take the views in
Step 5
The Jump
This is it, this is where you take a leap of faith into the beautiful world of freefall. You’ll quickly accelerate to 120mph / 200kmph, freefalling for up to a minute
Step 6
Parachute Flight
Once your instructor opens the parachute, everything calms down and you’ll get to take in the beautiful Algarve coastline. Want to have a go at flying the parachute? You can guide the parachute back to the airfield
Step 7
LANDING
Come in for a soft landing at the airfield, you’ve done it, you’re a skydiver!
Step 8
Post-Jump
After the jump, our instructors will help you remove the harness. A team member will take you back to reception. You’ll also pick up the jump certificate so you can brag to your friends
Step 9
Footage Delivery
If you picked the video & photos package, we’ll send your polished footage within an hour. It’s edited just for you and will be sent straight to your email. Look out for a convenient WhatsApp message
Step 10
Time To Share
Tandem skydiving gives you the perfect bragging rights. With four different edits from short to long, you can easily share them to your favourite social media platforms
